![]() Introducing . . . Master of Gzhel ![]() T. S. Dunasheva was born in 1921 in the village of Turigino, Moscow District. In 1935 she worked in the painting studio of Vpered Ceramics Association (Forward Ceramics) and in 1937 in the unified association called "Decorative Ceramics." After participating in World War II she worked in the painting studio of the Turigino Porcelain Plant and since 1972 has been a painter of the Gzhel Association. A member of the Union of Artists, the Russian Federation conferred on her the title Laureate of the State (The Repin Prize). Recognized as a Veteran of Labor and awarded with silver and bronze medals of The Exhibition of People's Economic Achievements, she holds the diploma of the Union of Artists. She is the creator of vases, cases, tea and coffee services, sets for serving blini (Russian dessert pancakes) and eggs, boxes for vanities, chandeliers, etc. A participant in domestic and international exhibitions, her works are on display in numerous Russian institutions (GRM, GIM, GMK Kuskovo, EKM, MPO Gzhel, et. al.). ![]() |
