Margarita Vladlenovna PODGORNAYA ![]() Born in 1955 in Yoshkar-Ola, Alexander Valeryevich graduated (1980) from the Abramtsevo Industrial Art School (the faculty of artistic ceramics). Since 1980 he has worked as a painter at the Gzhel Association, often in collaboration with M. V. Podgornaya. Mainly, however, he works on the creation of new forms. He has been awarded with various medals and diplomas. His works are presented in GRM, VMDPI, MNI, and MO Gzhel. Margarita Vladlenovna was born in 1958 in Gurjev, Kemerovo District. In 1978 she graduated from the Abramtsevo Industrial Art School, where she specialized in artistic painting on ceramics. Since 1981 has been engaged as a painter of the Gzhel Association creative group. With A. V. Tsaregorodtsev she has created the models for mass production: a set of lamps, a tea-service, boxes, clocks, decorative plates, souvenir mugs, glasses with covers, tea-pots, jugs, cheese boards, beverage sets, chandeliers, vases, desk-lamps, jugs for kvas, etc. She has exhibitioned widely and has been awarded with different medals, diplomas and prizes Her works may also be seen in GRM, VMDPI, MNI, MO Gzhel, etc. A native of Novosibirsk (b.1950), Victor Nepluyev graduated from the Alma-Ata Art School (Scenic Design Department) in 1970 and the Moscow Industrial Art High School (formerly Stroganovskoje) -- in 1979 -- where specialized in artistic ceramics. In the period 1979--1980 he worked as a painter at the Kusajevo Porcelain Plant and thereafter at the Gzhel Association. From 1984 till 1986 he was the chief painter of the association. He is famous in Russia and abroad as the author of miniatures, sculptural series, cases, tea-sets, vases, vessels with sculptural decoration. He has been a participant in many domestic and international exhibitions. A member of' the Union of Artists he has been awarded with various diplomas and medals. His works may be seen on permanent display at GRM, MO Gzhel, UMDPT, ZGTIHMZ, et. al. ![]() |
